Parent and Child Together
At SALT Occupational Therapy, we focus on the needs of both the child and the parent. Our goal is to nurture strong connections and promote well-being for the entire family.
SALT Occupational Therapy provides:
Developmental and functional capacity assessments and reports for NDIS and for diagnostic support
Sensory assessments and strategies (for both the child, parent and analysis of the dyad/family)
Collaborative goal setting and review
Home and community-based therapeutic intervention (including at kindy, daycare and school) for skill development and adaptive strategies to support optimum engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs)
Circle of Security parenting workshops (individual and group)
Perinatal support, including transition to motherhood and support to adapt to the significant role changes
Telehealth services (nationally) and online consultations for ease of access and timely intervention
Consultation (both ongoing and ‘standalone’), in person and via telehealth
Clinical supervision services for early career occupational therapists
Workshops and in-services tailored to your needs i.e. for mother’s groups, playgroups, professional development for teachers or early childhood educators including Kindy Uplift
